Viewing from inside a Firewall (using proxy servers)

In order to view a feed behind a firewall when your company uses a proxy server (a server that lies between the LAN of the company and the internet), then you may need to find out from your company the name and port of your proxy server. Once you have this information, then follow the instructions below to set-up the RimLife Desktop Client.

1. Click on Feed in the main tool bar, scroll down, then click on Preferences.
   
   
   
   
2. The Preferences Dialog Box will open. Go to the Proxy tab and check the "Use Proxy" checkbox.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the name and port of your company's proxy server, then click OK.
